IAN WRIGHT ADVICES ARSENAL TO SELL WALCOTT

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright has advised the club to sell winger Theo Walcott this summer.

League rivals Everton FC have reportedly offered £30 million for the Three Lions star as they step up their interest in the player.

Walcott needs regular football, particularly with the 2018 World Cup on the horizon. With Arsenal set to amend their play and add another winger, Walcott might not enjoy a better fate next term. Ian Wright says he likes the player but advices the Gunnersto accept the money and allow the deal go through.

“Sad to see the amount of disrespect that Theo gets from the fans. I’ll always love him, but if it is a 30 million bid, got to take it,” the retired footballer turn pundit said.

Walcott started well last term, scoring 14 goals in the first half of the season but he veered off the mark in the second half. As he struggled for more game time, he could only add five more goals. With his deal with the north London club peaking, the club might consider selling him to interested sides.

Addition of Alexandre Lacazette and the chase of Thomas Lemar bids badly for the player. The former Crystal Palace and Arsenal legend opines that Arsenal should let him go now. Truly, it might be difficult for the player to attract this much buzz in the transfer market after now.

Arsenal have several players that have their next career play uncertain for now. There are Alexis Sanchez, MesutOzil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, WojciechSzczesny and others.
