TOURE THINKS LIVERPOOL WILL CHALLENGE

Kolo Toure has said that Liverpool has a great chance of making it to the Champions League this season.

The Reds have made a fine start to the ongoing premier league and are currently at the second position in the points table.

Toure who signed for Liverpool at the start of this season thinks that the success that the team has had in the first few games has given the players the belief that they can finish in top 4 this season. According to the latest from betting online australia, Liverpool are odds-on to finish in the top 4, and Evens at Unibet.

Talking to the reporters yesterday, the 32 years old centre-back said, “We undoubtedly have got enough potential to qualify for the Champions League. There are a lot of quality players here and we have also got self belief.”

“But, the vital thing is to be consistent. If we have to achieve our target, we will have to put up good performances week after week. We need to play for each other and also for our supporters.”

“We are in a good position in the table at the moment, now; we have to make sure that we don’t move down. We have to maintain our position.”

“It’s not an easy tournament, the Premier League. It’s very long and there are going to be good periods and bad periods. But, we should try to remain in top 4 all the time.”

Kolo Toure has had a fantastic last couple of months. His form in the Premier League has been decent and he also made a comeback to his national side earlier this month. He was included in the Ivory Coast squad for the first leg of their World Cup qualifying play off against Senegal. He did not get the opportunity to go on the pitch though. He kept warming the bench throughout the game.
