WRIGHT PREDICTS EASY CHELSEA VICTORY

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has predicted an easy win for Chelsea ahead of their Premier League clash with struggling Manchester United. The league leaders will play hosts to the Red Devils in what’s the biggest game of the week on the Premier League scene. Ian Wright talked about the upcoming league encounter between Chelsea and Manchester United on Optus Sports’ Kelly and Wrighty Show.

Ian Wright is not convinced that the current Manchester United coaching setup can get a result against the Blues since caretaker manager Michael Carrick has revealed that he shares the same footballing philosophy as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sacked as the Manchester United manager last week Sunday.

Solskjaer was in charge when Manchester United lost five of their last seven Premier League matches. The Ex-Manchester United striker was also in the dugout when the Red Devils ended on the wrong side of the result in the Premier League.

Following the sacking of Solskjaer, senior Manchester United officials agreed to put former club midfielder Carrick in charge of the team. He was on the touchline when Manchester United secured top spot in their group as far as Champions League football is concerned. He took charge of the team when Manchester United scored two late goals through Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo and England national team winger Jadon Sancho to secure Group F summit via a 2-0 away win over Europa League champions Villarreal.

Carrick has been saddled with the responsibility of taking Manchester United to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge mainly due to the visa issues encountered by Ralf Rangnick, who’s closing in on being the interim manager at Old Trafford until the end of the season. The Red Devils face a Chelsea side who have won their nine of their last ten games in all competitions including the 4-0 home win over Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.
